What an elegant plant this is, blooming precociously and prolifically, mid- to late spring, with lavender-violet orchid flowers that have a distinctive yellow and purple lip spotted red. Pleated, light green, lance-shaped leaves rise from the base. This plant is hardy, though it looks exotic, and lightly colonizes. With plenty of water, it doesn't mind full sun. 2' x 2'
